ABAYASS was born from a love story: with a garment, a culture, and a way of dressing that carries centuries of grace. The abaya is not ordinary clothing. It is identity, elegance, and intention all in one. ABAYASS exists to honour that, and to take it further.
The Founder's Story
I grew up in Europe with Arab roots, between two cultures, two aesthetics, two ways of seeing the world. The abaya was always part of my heritage, but not part of my everyday. Moving to Dubai changed that.
I wanted the abaya in my way: softer colours, cleaner silhouettes, fabrics that move between the Gulf heat and a European winter without missing a beat. So I started designing for myself.
Then women kept stopping me at the mall asking where I bought my abaya. At the tailor, ladies would offer to buy my piece on the spot. I couldn't ignore it, so I stopped keeping it to myself.

Every ABAYASS piece is cut and sewn by skilled hands in Dubai. We select each fabric individually: for drape, for breathability, for the way it moves when you walk into a room. Lightweight, flowing weaves for the summer. Richer, weightier fabrics for cooler seasons. No shortcuts. No excess.
